1950s TV Kelaysia, the pioneer (1950) At the end of the 40s, a group of businessmen from the Federated State decided to experiment with television in the country. In November 1949 they signed a permit for the first television license, under the authority of the Trinidadian government. The businessmen baptized the network as "Hangpei Metropolitan Area Television", abbreviated as TV Kelaysia and its broadcast began formally on March 1, 1950. Its beginnings were precarious, it had a daily broadcast of two hours, and much of its Programming consisted of imported films with English dubbing. The newscast was very short, it lasted five minutes. After a short time, TV Kelaysia created an alliance with a radio station to adapt one of the successful radio formats of those times: Super Show, a format created in 1946 by TV Kelaysia, a variety program that was broadcast every Saturday. 1960s 1970s 1980s 1990s 2000s 2010s 2020s

History Old history The territories where Kelaysia is currently located, They were populated by an indigenous tribe known as the Klai, whose culture was influenced mainly by Tengxun and Ishkia. Kingdom of Sugoklai During the 13th century the Klai founded various city states, with the Kingdom of Sugoklai being the first Klai state in the region. It was founded in 1238 and its development coincides in time with the stage of debacle and fall of the Demer empire between the 13th and 15th centuries. Transgarian arrival  In 1766 a ship from Ingliance but only with crew members from the province of Transgaria, comes to Sugoklai, where they were received by the Klai who learned their culture in such a surprising way that English was mixed with their native language. The crew felt so comfortable in the area that the ship set sail 10 years later than estimated, although many stayed in the area to inhabit it.
